He laughed. "Of course."
Walter gave the orbs another look, then stretched. "I think I'm going to take a walk. All their adventuring has given me a taste for the outdoors. Care to join me?"

"Why not," Tanith said. She wanted to make sure Wally-Woll wasn't just going to start spreading unfortunate rumours about certain names

He offered an arm to each girl, out of politeness. "So...how did you two meet? I mean, don't get me wrong, but you're a few years older than us, and in a differnt house."

Mary had her arms folded as they walked.
"Tanith and I bumped into each other by accident in my second year," she said with a smile, "she helped me learn my way around a bit"

Mary put her arm through Walter's.
"Mary's being too modest. She got me out of some trouble I was about to get myself into. And since then who wouldn't be friends with Ant here?"

"Fair point." He smiled, "Mary is very easy to be friends with." And also the type to help almost anyone out of trouble. She wasn't at ease now though. Hadn't been in a couple days. He didn't know how to ask though, especially with someone else around.
"I really ought to have introduced you to the eagles earlier. Don't know why I didn't think of it."

"That's okay," Mary said with a faint smile, "They're a nice crowd. And now I can always get advice on the tricky homework I suppose,"
She walked with Tanith and Walter as they stepped outside. It was a good fresh day and she shivered a little.

Post by Desmond Warren on Jun 15, 2015 12:57:19 GMT
It was good to be back at Hogwarts again. Des had just finished a meeting with Professor Mayhew the headmaster and Healer Cantor who had spoken on his behalf.
Desmond had showed a marked improvement in the past few months and no longer suffered fits of irrational temper. His persecution complex had been dealt with. His sense of destiny and grandeur purpose was reasonable and under control. He was fit to return to the school.
Mayhew had looked at Desmond Warren with an intent gaze that almost convinced Des that there was a living soul inside the old man. One that wanted to peel away the layers of Desmond and expose him to the withering light.
Desmond had smiled and thanked Professor Mayhew for giving him another chance. Healer Cantor had been a great help in helping him find a more stable place in his life and he looked forward to resuming his studies.
He’d been away almost since the start of the year but now his things had been brought back to the Ravenclaw dormitory and Des himself opened the doors into the great hall and found it changed.
“What’s happened” he asked aloud, not to anyone in particular, and he walked toward the orbs. His face showed nothing but curiousity.

"They are good for that. You know, we've been watching movies every now and then. Me, Ela, and Robert I mean. Maybe during one of his breaks from the action we can all get together or something. It's been a while."

"Maybe," said Mary.

He glanced at Tanith, then back at Mary, and sighed. "Are you alright?"

Mary smiled brightly, "I'm fine Walter," she said, "that would be great, watching movies with the Eagles."

Of course she was. "Well, with some of the eagles. It's kind of a small screen, so limited viewers, I'd invite you too, Tanith, but they don't know you."

"And if you don't invite me, they never will, surely?" said Tanith with a grin, "but that's okay. Eagles are good in small doses but it's never long before somebody makes a pun based on a 15th century wizarding version of Sudoko and they all start sniggering among themselves."

"No, no.." he blushed, "I just meant...they've already met Mary and I'm not sure how much they'd like it if I just brought someone they didn't know..."
